Zionsville Community Schools plans to add a new elementary and a potential middle school at 875 E. between 400 and 500 S. Eagleworth Substation is north of the existing sports complex and early proposals point to the footprint being similar to Union Elementary.

Western Boone Schools received a $25,000 rebate from PowerMoves for their second floor renovation to the Jr.-Sr. High School. A LED lighting system and an infrared water heating system were included in the rebates for their energy efficiency efforts.
