At Southern Indiana Power, we strive to provide you with the reliable electric service you can count on. We are continually working to improve our communications to you during outages and provide convenient options for reporting your outage.

As technology advances, we have more tools to help us pinpoint outage locations and provide you with information. Even with this technology, it’s still very important for you to report outages to us when they occur. Outages can always been viewed on our outage map directly at sinpwr.com.

Recently we updated our after-hours call center in order to better serve you. Cooperative Response Center (CRC) is able to assist members with most of your needs when the office is closed. Issues that cannot be resolved by CRC will be forwarded to Southern Indiana Power and handled in a timely manner.

New for 2020, we have two ways to report an outage:

  • By phone:  Call us at 800-323-2316 to report an outage. The advantage to using the 800 number is we have unlimited lines going to our new call center, CRC, which eliminates the backlog of calls during large outage events.
  • SmartHub:  Simply log in to your SmartHub account on your computer, tablet or smart phone and report your outage through the SmartHub webpage or mobile app.

We hope these changes will help alleviate the frustrations you may have had in the past and help us grow into the future.
