As April unfolds, I am eager to share with you the exciting events and opportunities that lie ahead. This month is filled with moments of appreciation, connection, and recognition for the outstanding individuals who contribute to our cooperative’s success.

On April 8, we’ll have the opportunity to witness a rare celestial event — a solar eclipse. This breathtaking phenomenon serves as a reminder of the wonders of the universe and provides a moment for us to pause, reflect, and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us. In preparation for the high volume of traffic that is expected in our area, the REMC office will close at noon. Crews will be strategically positioned throughout the service territory for your emergency power restoration needs during the event.

In addition to this celestial wonder, April holds special significance for our cooperative. Lineworker Appreciation Day allows us to express our heartfelt gratitude to those who work tirelessly to keep our communities powered. Their dedication and commitment to service are truly commendable, and we are incredibly fortunate to have them as part of our cooperative family.

Furthermore, Administrative Professionals Day presents an opportunity for us to recognize the essential role played by administrative staff in supporting our operations. Their efficiency, professionalism, and dedication are integral to the success of our cooperative, and we are deeply appreciative of their contributions.

Finally, as we celebrate Earth Day, let’s reaffirm our commitment to environmental stewardship by practicing energy efficiency and embracing sustainable practices. Together, we can work towards a cleaner and greener future for generations to come.

April is a month of celebration, appreciation, and connection for our cooperative. I am honored to lead such a vibrant and engaged community, and I look forward to navigating this month’s journey together with each of you.
