Harrison REMC is offering residential members the opportunity to apply for various rebates in 2024. Each rebate comes with guidelines and terms of conditions to qualify. Please go to harrisonremc.com for complete rules and instructions. All Harrison REMC rebates are distributed in the form of a bill credit.

Electric outdoor equipment

Corded or battery-powered equipment consisting of lawnmowers (36 volts), trimmers, leaf blowers, chain saws, snow blowers, rototillers, and pressure washers are eligible for this rebate.

Simply fill out an application and submit it with your receipt within 90 days of purchase to take advantage of:

  • 50% off up to $50 on eligible hand-held and push-type equipment
  • 50% off up to $150 on eligible riding equipment

HVAC tune-up

Members who have a licensed HVAC contractor perform various tests to inspect, clean, and upgrade any faulty or high-use components of your heating and cooling system may qualify for a rebate of 50% of the cost of the tune-up service, up to $50.

Members must complete the application and have their HVAC contractor complete the checklist to qualify. System must be at least 3 years old.

Water heater

If you have been considering upgrading your water heater, Harrison REMC offers a rebate that covers up to $500 for heat pump water heaters or $200 for Wi-Fi-enabled electric storage water heaters.

We understand that upgrading your water heater is a significant expense, but the savings over time make it a worthy investment. Members could save up to $550 annually by upgrading to a new, more efficient water heater.

HVAC

The HVAC rebate is designed for the installation or upgrades of air source heat pumps, geothermal heat pumps, ductless mini-split heat pumps, or dual fuel heat pumps.
