Each year, Harrison REMC is excited to promote one of our seven cooperative principles, Commitment to Community. The future of our communities is our youth, and we support offering these programs to our youth members. These programs help middle and high school students learn more about energy, the cooperative business model, history, government, and much more. Please go to harrisonremc.com for more information and to apply.
Page Day
Page Day at the Indiana Statehouse will be on Jan. 26, 2027. During Page Day, students explore the Statehouse, step into the role of a lawmaker through a mock bill activity, hear from inspiring government leaders, and connect face-to-face with their state legislators. Students also get an inside look at how laws are made and the role citizens play in the democratic process. The program is open to high school students who can provide their own transportation to and from the Statehouse.
Applications are due by Jan. 8, 2027.
Wired to Create Student Art Contest
This art contest invites K-12 students to submit artwork that shows what keeps Indiana moving forward, through the people, places, industries, and communities that power our state. Electric cooperatives don’t just deliver power; we help power Indiana’s communities. Show us what that means to you! See the rules and eligibility information on our website.
Entries are due by March 5, 2027.
Camp Kilowatt

Kids have the chance to explore hands-on activities, make new friends, and enjoy fun summer activities such as rock climbing, swimming, archery, and energy education.
The deadline to apply is May 7, 2027.
