Operation Round Up grants issued

Rensselaer Central Middle School received two grants. The first was to aid in the cost of purchasing new microscopes and performing maintenance on the current microscopes. The second was to help fund the PBIS field trip program.

A grant was awarded to the Tri-County Summer Meal Program to help purchase food and supplies.

Grant funds were awarded to The Fendig Theatre for Children to help purchase materials for the participants.

Teen Mission Jasper County received a grant to purchase food and meal supplies.

Kankakee Valley School Corporation received three grants. DeMotte Elementary School was awarded funds to help purchase a new circulation desk. Hidden # 16168001. The KVHS Technology Student Association will use its grant funds to help purchase new laptops and materials. The Kankakee Valley Academic Team received a grant to help with contest expenses.

Faith Lutheran Church received funds to purchase supplies for their Swaddling Clothes program, which allows families in need to receive free infant and toddler items such as clothing, diapers, and car seats.

Jasper County Public Library was awarded a grant to purchase supplies for their summer reading program.

A grant was awarded to the Jasper County Historical Society to purchase materials needed to create a genealogy area in the museum.

Junior Achievement serving Kankakee Valley received funds to help with the cost of hosting JA in a Day at DeMotte Elementary.

The Carnegie Players, Inc., was awarded a grant to purchase wireless microphones.

Harvest Christian Academy received a grant to aid in the purchase of computers, monitors, and miscellaneous hardware.
