Amos Murphy is pictured with his children, Halle and Griffin, and his wife, Shana.

Amos Murphy and Amos Wegner were hired by Orange County REMC in April and began work as groundmen. They will transition into lineman apprentices as they complete their training.

Murphy was previously employed at Indiana Limestone Company where he was a crew supervisor cutting and/or extracting stone. He worked for Indiana Limestone for 12 years. He is a Paoli High School graduate, and he and his family live in Orleans.

Wegner was employed at AT&T, where he worked as a premise technician installing television network and broadband internet. Wegner graduated from Northview High School, east of Terre Haute, and later graduated from Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science. He has worked as a strength and conditioning coach for both the University of Notre Dame and Mitchell High School. Wegner and his family live in Mitchell.
