Touchstone Energy Camp

In June, Jeremy Mueller, son of Mark and Elizabeth Mueller, and Bryce Gentry, son of Brandon and Shana Gentry, from Harrison REMC attended Touchstone Energy Camp at Camp Tecumseh.

Campers enjoyed three days filled with zip lining, horseback riding, rock climbing, swimming and campfires. Campers also learned about electric safety and other topics such as alternative energy. The camp is structured to teach leadership skills that can be put to use now and later in life.

Indiana Youth Tour

Olivia Hopper, Miles Thompson and Olivia Romeo enjoy the Indiana Youth Tour to Washington, D.C.

Also this summer, three youth from Harrison REMC’s service territory spent a week on the Indiana Youth Tour to Washington, D.C.

This year’s recipients were Olivia Romeo, daughter of Nick and Lisa Romeo; Miles Thompson, son of Michael and Angela Thompson; and Olivia Hopper, daughter of Vince and Heather Hopper.
