Short, controlled outages could be used on rare occasions as a last resort to prevent larger, longer-lasting disruptions.

Our members play an important role in these moments. Small actions can make a meaningful difference when demand is high, such as adjusting the thermostat by a few degrees, delaying the use of household appliances, and turning off unnecessary lights and electronics.
