As the holiday season approaches, it’s a time to pause, reflect, and express heartfelt gratitude to those who make our work meaningful — our members. At Orange County REMC, we are more than just an electric utility; we are a cooperative built by and for the community we serve. Your trust and partnership inspire us to continually improve, innovate, and give back every day.

This year has been one of progress and connections. We continue to grow Orange County Fiber and complete projects that will help increase reliability and support future growth. Our employees and board members worked tirelessly to ensure dependable, affordable power while continuing to enhance the member experience.

We’re also proud of the ways we’ve given back — through youth programs, our student board of directors, and other community outreach activities. These efforts reflect our shared commitment to the cooperative principle of “Concern for Community.”

As we gather with loved ones this winter, we encourage everyone to stay safe and energy-smart. Simple steps — such as checking smoke alarms, using LED holiday lights, and sealing drafts — can make homes safer and more efficient. For those looking to manage winter energy costs, our team is always here with advice, tools, and rebate programs designed to help.

Looking ahead to the new year, we’re excited about continued investments in reliability, technology, and community partnerships. Together, we’ll continue to build a stronger energy future — one rooted in service, sustainability, and shared values.

From all of us at Orange County REMC, thank you for being an essential part of our cooperative family. May your holidays be filled with warmth, safety, and joy.
