District 1

Erin Arnold

Erin resides on 650 North, St. Paul and has been a member of Decatur County REMC for 20 years. She is married to Michael, and they have two sons, Calvin and Owen.

Erin earned a nursing degree and previously worked as an OB nurse and with the Decatur County Schools. She later stepped away from her career to care for her son during his cancer diagnosis. Today, she assists with landscaping through her family business, Millennium Contractors.

She has been actively involved in childhood cancer fundraisers and now supports North Decatur High School activities, especially football and events involving her sons. 

Erin is interested in serving Decatur County REMC to become more involved in the community and connect with others.

Courtney Crowe

Courtney lives on 600 W in Greensburg and has been a Decatur County REMC member for 14 years. She is married to John, and they have three sons, Colton, Corbin, and Canaan, along with three dogs.

Courtney is a graduate of Batesville High School. She works in Business Development for Our Hospice of South Central Indiana and brings 13 years of experience in long-term care, home health, and hospice. She also assists her husband with their business, Reflection RPM Auto Sales & Service Shop. 

She is involved with The Hospital Foundation of Decatur County, the Chamber of Commerce, and Shelby County Active Aging Coalition. Her focus is on supporting families and seniors in accessing care, while giving back to the community and supporting local youth.

DISTRICT 2

Phil Bennett

Phil resides on 500 E in Greensburg and has been a Decatur County REMC member for 22 years. He is married to Heather, and they have four children: twins Jack and Addi, Ethan, and Luke.

Phil graduated from North Decatur High School and Ivy Tech with a background in Industrial Maintenance. He is the owner and operator of Bennett Heating, Cooling & Electric LLC, a business he has run for 22 years. He is also a farmer, raising corn, soybeans, and cattle near Kingston.

Phil is active in Greensburg Schools athletics, supporting his children in swimming, football, and baseball. He is a member and elder at Kingston Presbyterian Church and serves on its board.

He is interested in serving Decatur County REMC to help ensure reliable and affordable electric service for all members.

Chad Evans

Chad lives on 120 E in Greensburg and has been a Decatur County REMC member for 23 years. He is married to Jean.

Chad served in the U.S. Navy, including time aboard the USS Ben Franklin, USS Stonewall Jackson, and within the Submarine Force. He holds an associate degree in Electronics Technology from Ivy Tech and has worked for the last 26 years as a carpenter.

He has experience serving on boards and brings an open-minded approach. Chad is interested in serving Decatur County REMC to give back to the cooperative, serve the community, and hold people accountable.

DISTRICT 5

Deric Hudson

Deric resides on 700 W in Greensburg and has been a Decatur County REMC member for 37 years. He is married to Allyson, and they have two children, Madilyn and Caiden.

He graduated from South Decatur High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in Crop and Soil Management along with an associate degree in Turf Science from Purdue University. Deric is employed with Kova Fertilizer as a Precision Ag Specialist.

He is a member of Knights of St. John Commandery #31 and serves on the Decatur County Rural Water Board.

He is committed to serving both the corporation and the community to the best of his ability.
