The Operation Round Up board met on Monday, March 2, to discuss the first batch of grant applications of the year. The following were awarded:

Team Peace, Inc., $1,200 —Snacks and gift bags for Summer Bike Camp

CASA for Children, $1,032.20 — Supplies for Child Abuse Awareness Week

Springs Valley Elementary School, $1,500 — Prizes for attendance celebration

Orleans Bulldog Regiment Band Boosters, $1,500 — Funds for band uniforms

Orleans After Prom, $750 – Food and prizes for the event
