At Decatur County REMC, nearly 90 years of service have taught us that power is about more than electricity — it’s about connection. Our 2026 theme, “Power with Purpose — driven by purpose, connected by power,” reflects that belief: every decision we make, every project we take on, is about empowering our members and strengthening our communities.

Purpose drives us. Whether it’s keeping the lights on, supporting local programs, or helping our communities grow, our focus remains on creating a lasting impact. Over the past year, we’ve expanded the ways members stay connected, and in 2026, we’ll continue to build on that foundation to bring even more opportunities and resources to our communities.

Power connects us all. From homes and businesses to schools and community events, the energy we deliver fuels lives, strengthens connections, and supports progress. Every investment in infrastructure, reliability, and service is another step toward a brighter, more connected future.

As we move through 2026, Decatur County REMC remains committed to combining purpose with power — empowering people, strengthening communities, and building connections that matter. Because at the end of the day, our power is most meaningful when it serves a purpose.

If you ever have questions, ideas, or thoughts about the direction of your cooperative, I encourage you to reach out to me at any time. I’m always glad to hear from our members.
