Orange County REMC awards up to six $750 scholarships each year to recognize the academic and community achievements of outstanding local students. These scholarships are funded through the Operation Round Up program. Students who apply must be graduating the current year and accepted to attend an accredited college or trade school in Indiana. Congratulations to the 2025 scholarship winners!

Anna Sowders of Mitchell High School is the daughter of Jean and Matthew Sowders. She will attend Indiana University to study international relations.

Elle Strother of West Washington High School is the daughter of Mary Anne and Paul Knapp. She plans to study forensic science following high school.

Sophie Harris of Springs Valley High School is the daughter of Lori and Justin Harris. She plans to attend Indiana University to study political science.

Carson Brown of Springs Valley High School is the son of Alicia and Anthony Brown. He plans to study computer science after graduation.

Evan Brown of Springs Valley High School is the son of Shannon and Stephen Brown. He will attend Indiana University to study computer science.

Coy Busick of Paoli High School is the son of Angeline and Mike Busick. He plans to study finance following high school.
