Chief Executive Officer

One of the most important and meaningful aspects of being a member of Bartholomew County REMC is that you have a voice in how your cooperative is run. As your CEO, I want to personally encourage you to participate in this years board of directors and nominating committee election. Your participation shapes the future of our co-op.

At BCREMC, we operate differently than investor-owned utilities. You’re not just a customer you’re a member-owner. That means your vote helps determine the direction of the cooperative and ensures that our decisions reflect the needs and values of the people we serve.

LEADERSHIP THAT REFLECTS OUR COMMUNITY

Our board of directors is made up of dedicated individuals who live right here in our community. They bring real-life experience and a local perspective to their role and work closely with our team to ensure that we remain focused on reliability, affordability, and service excellence. Your vote helps elect the individuals who represent your interests and help guide key decisions that impact every member.

VOTING IS SIMPLE AND CONVENIENT

In mid-May, you received a voting packet in the mail with instructions to vote online or by mail. Election instructions were also sent to the email address we have on file for your account. The election will close at noon on June 16. Please take a few moments to make your voice heard it truly makes a difference.

JOIN THE ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING

Join us virtually on June 17 at 7 p.m. for the annual business meeting, where election results will be announced. Additionally, we welcome you to participate in the Annual Meeting meet-and- greet at the fair on June 24. This event offers an opportunity to connect with fellow members, meet your directors, and talk directly with the BCREMC team. Use your fair parking pass included in your packet, visit us at the tent outside the livestock pavilion, and receive $25 in fair food vouchers to use at participating vendors.

At the heart of every decision we make is a commitment to you, our members. We value your input, your involvement, and your trust.
