Staci Montgomery is Working for You. As an Engineering and Operations Specialist, Staci has been with Clark County REMC for 2 ½ years. Staci’s typical day consists of checking the metering system; uploading readings for all of the active meters to be billed; scheduling daily work for the Staking Engineers; checking completed work; setting up large power accounts, and scheduling work for the metering department. Before taking her current position with REMC, she was the Credit and Collections Specialist. When asked what she enjoys most about her job, she stated, “I learn something new every day. I really enjoy being a part of a team that cares so much about what we do and the service we provide.”
Staci was born and raised in Henryville where she was the youngest of eight children. Being a part of a large family is very special to her. The biggest inspiration in her life are her parents. “It takes special people to raise eight children and to have been married for 50 years. The love they had for each other and their family have molded me into the person that I am today,” she commented. Staci and her husband Jeff, of 12 years, have remained in the Henryville area where they are raising their six year old son JJ. They have two dogs and recently started a new adventure in taking care of chickens. “In my eyes, I have a picture perfect little family,” stated Staci.
The Montgomery family enjoys spending time together with family and friends. Recently they purchased a new home and a lot of their spare time is being spent getting settled and making the new house their dream home. When it comes to basketball season, you’ll find a house divided. Staci cheers on the Michigan State Spartans and Jeff cheers on the Indiana Hoosiers. As for JJ, he cheers on whoever mom and dad are rooting for and likes both the Hoosiers and Spartans.
Staci’s upbeat personality and positive attitude make her a valuable team member. Striving to learn something new every day and providing the best service possible to the membership are just a few of the amazing qualities that Staci provides to the team.
