Joe McNew is Working for You. Joe has been with Clark County REMC for over 22 years. He has worked in several positions with the REMC including assistant warehouseman and staking technician. He is currently the Project Engineer. When asked what he enjoys most about his job at REMC, he stated, “The most enjoyable part of my job is getting to be outside and working with our members.”

Joe is a native of Memphis, Indiana, where he continues to grow his family. Joe and his wife, Krista, have been married for 17 years and have two wonderful children — Emily (9) and Eli (5). They have three Australian shepherds named Logan, Lexi and Leo. In his spare time, Joe enjoys being outdoors, exercising and spending time with his family. Their children recently started playing soccer at Graceland, and they enjoy watching them be involved.

For the past three years, Joe and his family have vacationed in Gulf Shores, Alabama, and really enjoyed the time being together as a family. They like to go during the off season so they can have the majority of the beach to themselves to relax. When it comes to movies, Joe likes war based films. His favorite movies are Fury, Blackhawk Down and Saving Private Ryan. Joe also enjoys cars and is a huge fan of Fords.

Joe began as an employee with REMC right out of college. His training and knowledge over the past 22 years have made him a very valuable employee. His passion to strive to do the best job possible each day and to always keep the members in mind are just a few of Joe’s daily goals. We hope that you enjoy getting to know the employees of Clark County REMC and remember that Joe McNew is Working For You.
