Heather Meagher is Working for You. As the Receptionist and a Member Service Specialist, Heather has been with Clark County REMC for nearly 2 years. Heather greets all members that come into the office as well as on the phone. She always has a smile on her face and her cheerful attitude helps members feel welcomed and well taken care of. When asked what she enjoys most about her job, she stated, “I enjoy meeting the members and taking care of their needs. I also really enjoy working with all of the REMC employees and know that the friendships I have made will last a lifetime.”

Heather was born and raised in the Sellersburg area which is where her parents were born and raised, along with a large portion of her family. She decided that she loved the area so much that she stayed to raise her family. Heather and her husband Brian will celebrate 5 years of marriage this month. In celebration, they plan to take their family on a trip to Destin, FL this fall. Heather’s son Ty (14) is an amazing young man. He has a passion for animals. Currently the Meagher family has 3 cats, a leopard gecko, a beta fish named Clementine and a Mexican walking fish named Loch. Ty enjoys rescuing and taking care of all kinds of animals.

The Meagher family enjoy spending time with family and friends as well as traveling to new places and being outdoors. Heather enjoys learning about photography and admits that while she is not an expert, she enjoys the images she captures while having fun. When it’s basketball season you will find the Meagher family cheering on the Indiana Hoosiers. They enjoy going to Bloomington several times during the season to catch the Hoosiers in action.

Heather’s heartwarming and cheerful attitude make her a valuable team member to the REMC. She goes above and beyond to take care of members, helps co-workers with anything needed and is very flexible in her job role.
