Dave Casey is Working for You. Dave has been with Clark County REMC for 34 years as a lineman. He currently maintains and installs special equipment such as electronic reclosers, regulators and capacitor banks. His job impacts the reliability that our members receive. When asked what he enjoys most about his job at REMC, he stated, “There is great satisfaction that comes when power is restored after a major storm or large outage. To see our members’ faces and hear the gratitude is worth it all. There is a degree of appreciation that comes with that.”

Born, raised and still rooted in the Hamburg area, Dave and his wife Mary Beth have two children, Kara and Michael. They also have three grandchildren that they adore; Eli, Sophia and Athena. Dave takes great pride in having an immaculate yard and clean vehicles. Once those “chores” are done, he can spend time enjoying his motorcycle, swimming in the summer and tinkering with his old Corvette.

In his spare time he also enjoys reading and looking for “gold”. A hobby of Dave’s is to metal detect. When it comes to vacation time, Dave enjoys going to Disney World with the grandkids. “It makes you feel like a kid again,” said Casey. A big inspiration in his life came from both of his parents. His mother and father were both hard working individuals and their work ethic carried over into his life and made him the person he is today.

Dave’s knowledge about the REMC and his compassion over the past 34 years makes him a very valuable employee. He takes pride in the work he does and we appreciate all of the time and commitment he has given, not only to the REMC but to the members as well. We hope that you enjoy getting to know the employees of Clark County REMC and remember that Dave Casey is Working For You.
