Clint Schroeder is Working for You. As a Lineman, Clint has been with Clark County REMC for 4 years. When asked what he enjoys most about working at REMC, he stated, “I enjoy restoring power due to an outage, rebuilding the lines when there has been storm damage and the brotherhood of working with the men in my department.”

Clint is originally from Morgantown which is a small town north of Bloomington. This is where he met his wife, Amber. They have been married for 4 years and have a 2 year old daughter named Lainee JoEve. They also love spending time with their two pitbulls, Hurley and Kyzer.

In his spare time he enjoys taking family vacations, fishing, doing small projects around the house, and camping. When asked what his favorite vacation spot was, Clint said, “I really enjoy going on vacation to the beach, anytime I make it down there is a good vacation. I also enjoyed, when I was younger, going out west and seeing God’s amazing creations.”

Another passion of Clint’s is studying the Bible. His favorite book is Not a Fan by Kyle Idleman. According to Clint, this is a great book because it breaks down a lot of what the Bible says about being a disciple of Christ. “It has helped to change my perspective on how I live as a Christian,” stated Clint.

Clint is inspired by his family, especially his father, mother and grandmothers. His father has played a huge role in Clint’s work ethic and was the reason he sought out a career in linework.  Clint’s mother and grandmothers introduced him to his faith as a Christian. They have been an inspiration to teach him how to treat his family and how important family is. His wife and daughter also inspire him to be the man he wants to be. “They are always inspiring me to be a better father and husband. God has blessed me with my family, job and everything in my life in general. God has been extremely good to me,” commented Clint.

Clint is very dedicated to his job as well as to the REMC members. He is a valuable employee of our co-op team; and we thank him for his 4 years of service to the co-op.

We hope that you enjoy getting to know the employees of Clark County REMC and remember that Clint Schroeder is Working For You.
