As the fiber network continues to expand, there are two important things to do to prepare for when crews reach your neighborhood:

SIGN THE UNDERGROUND AGREEMENT

While crews are busy building the fiber backbone in your area, you need to sign the Underground Agreement.

Signing the Underground Agreement does not obligate you to sign up for fiber service but rather permits TWN to visit your property to prepare your home for service in advance of network availability.

TELL TWN ABOUT ANY UNDERGROUND STRUCTURES IN YOUR YARD

After you have signed the Underground Agreement, TWN crews are notified that you are interested in fiber internet service. From there, crews will visit your property to mark the fiber path to your home.

After crews mark the fiber path, it’s your job to review the proposed route before any digging begins. This path should not interfere with your yard’s buried lines or equipment. TWN must know where your underground structures and utility lines are located before digging so crews don’t encounter any issues when burying your fiber line.

It’s up to you to inform TWN about other buried structures that are not public knowledge. Such structures may include wells, underground pet fencing, security systems, cellars, etc.

If you notice that TWN’s proposed fiber route interferes with anything underground on your property, please call 833-727-5563 immediately to adjust the path.

After fiber path confirmation, the connection process will continue until you are officially connected to the TWN fiber network!
