As the weather grows colder and the end of the year draws closer, we transition into the season of reflection and gratitude. At Kosciusko REMC, we are thankful for the many opportunities we have had to serve in our local community this year and the continued support of our membership.

This month, we will be hosting our annual Thanksgiving food drive. Each year, we partner with a local church to provide food for those in need. We want to bring our community together to make sure everyone has a plentiful Thanksgiving for their family. Flip further into this issue to find more details about this event.

If you are looking for a way to bring light and warmth to someone close to you this holiday season, pick up a HUG (Household Utility Gift) certificate from KREMC. This program allows members to purchase a gift certificate, which can be applied directly to another members electric bill. Ease the pinch of holiday costs for someone you know this month.

Applications for our Camp Kilowatt, Youth Tour to Washington D. C., and Page Day open on Nov. 1, 2025. Send your students to these amazing youth programs where they can learn about energy, electrical safety, and the electric cooperative model, as well as history, government, and leadership. More information on these opportunities is included in this edition of the magazine.

As we approach Thanksgiving, we want to thank all of you for your continued support as we work to build a happier, brighter community each year. Help us continue this mission through our food drive, giving a HUG, or applying for our youth programs.

Wishing you a safe, warm, and happy Thanksgiving holiday!
