Steuben County REMC supports members by offering discounted energy-efficient water heaters available from our office.

Members can purchase a 50-gallon electric water heater for $200 plus tax. 

The high-efficiency A.O. Smith water heaters come in two sizes — 60.5” x 22” (tall) or 49.75” x 24” (short). The unit must be installed on REMC lines. The unit must be purchased by an REMC member from our office. The member agrees to the installation of a demand response switch upon purchase.
