This summer, Southern Indiana Power is focusing heavily on vegetation management — an essential part of ensuring reliable electric service for our members. Our crews began our 2025 herbicide application by finishing up areas in Perry County then moving to Spencer County. Specifically focusing on our Evanston and Chrisney substations.
