June 3-6 | Camp Kilowatt

Camp Kilowatt is a fun and unique camp experience for students entering seventh grade. The camp takes place in early June and gives kids a chance to learn about energy while making new friends and enjoying activities and games. This three-day camp includes horseback riding, electric cooperative education, rock climbing, swimming, and much more.

Cooperative Student Art Contest

Camp Kilowatt is a fun and unique camp experience for Indiana Electric Cooperatives invites K-12 students across the state to showcase their creativity in the Cooperative Student Art Contest. Winners will receive cash prizes and have their artwork celebrated across the state.

June 14-21 | Indiana Youth Tour

During the month of June, Indianas electric cooperatives sponsor an unforgettable educational adventure to Washington, D. C., for high school seniors-to-be. This seven-day trip includes visits with Indianas congressional leaders on Capitol Hill and a youth event with student delegates from across the country.

Jan. 27 | Page Day

Applications open: Nov. 1, 2025 Application deadline: Jan. 9, 2026

Page Day with the Indiana Senate gives students an opportunity to learn about their state government and how bills become law. Highlights include a Statehouse tour, mock bill activity, speakers, and other educational activities. Students may have the opportunity to see the Indiana Legislature in action and meet their legislator. The program is open to high school students and can be used as a credential when building a resume. Apply by Jan. 9.
