Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS) will manage the 2026 Daviess-Martin County REMC director election. Members may vote by mail-in or online ballot. Results will be announced during the annual membership meeting on Thursday, April 23, 2026.

DIRECTOR DISTRICTS UP FOR ELECTION:

• DISTRICT 3: Washington and Veale Townships (Daviess County)

• DISTRICT 6: Halbert, Lost River, Rutherford, and Mitcheltree Townships (Martin County)

INCUMBENT DIRECTORS WHOSE TERMS EXPIRE INCLUDE:

• DISTRICT 3: Brandt Schuckman

• DISTRICT 6: August Bauer

Named incumbents’ intention to seek a seat on the board of directors will be announced in the February issue of Indiana Connection.

Members interested in running must submit a petition of nomination by Monday, Feb. 23, 2026. Petition forms are available at the REMC office.

A photo and a brief biography will be needed for the magazine.

Final candidates will be listed in the Official Annual Meeting Notice, which will be mailed to all members.
