Touchstone Energy Cooperatives (TSE Services) will soon be offering electric consumers the opportunity to share their thoughts on what makes the “cooperative difference.” Consumers may be contacted to share their opinions via online surveys or by a simple telephone conversation.

TSE Services is a cooperatively owned research company that has annually gathered data from members since 2004. The National Survey on the Cooperative Difference helps Southeastern Indiana REMC to improve its service to the consumer, using firsthand information provided by those who know it best.

When consumers participate in the survey, they will be sending Southeastern Indiana REMC direct feedback about how they feel the co-op is doing in the areas of customer service, cooperative value, satisfaction, and reliability, along with several other components. Consumer insight provides the very foundation Southeastern Indiana REMC needs to make continuous improvement and ultimately provide better service.

The survey will take 15-20 minutes to complete, and members may be contacted now through June 2. While survey questions will address customer satisfaction matters, reliability perceptions, and co-op strengths and weaknesses, consumers may also be asked their opinions on renewable energies, electric vehicles, and emerging technologies.

The information shared will help Southeastern Indiana REMC see where it stands and will also show where it stacks up nationally against other utilities and electric co-ops, similar in size and service.

The survey is optional; however Southeastern Indiana REMC encourages consumers to participate. The goal is to gather as much front-line information as possible.

Anyone with questions or concerns about the survey should contact Southeastern Indiana REMC at 800-737-4111 or via email at communications@seiremc.com.
