Summer wouldn’t be complete without summer camp! KV REMC was proud to sponsor students to attend Camp Kilowatt, a four-day, three-night camp at Happy Hollow Children’s Camp in Nashville, Indiana. Students who attended this year included Sarah Blount of West Central School, Penelope Burns of Ben Franklin Middle School, Hayden Johnston of Knox Middle School, and Reese Travis of Kesling Intermediate School.

The camp offered students a fun mix of traditional outdoor activities such as ziplining, rock-wall climbing, archery, canoeing, and swimming, along with electrical safety and an overview of the important role electric cooperatives play in their communities.

KV REMC is proud to support opportunities like this that encourage students to learn, explore, and connect with their community.

If you have a current sixth-grade student who would enjoy a fun and educational summer camp experience, watch for more information at kvremc.com beginning Nov. 2.
