Steuben County REMC announces with deep appreciation and gratitude the upcoming retirement of Kevin Keiser, Chief Executive Officer, effective Jan. 30, 2026.
During his remarkable 28-year tenure as CEO, Keiser has guided Steuben County REMC through a period of transformation and growth. Under his leadership, the cooperative modernized its electric infrastructure, embraced cutting-edge technologies, expanded broadband access across the region, and deepened member engagement. Keiser’s unwavering dedication to safety, service, and stewardship has left a lasting legacy and positioned Steuben County REMC for continued success in the years ahead.
“Serving this cooperative and its members has been one of the greatest honors of my life,” said Keiser. “I never imagined how meaningful this journey would become, nor how strongly I would come to feel towards the community, the employees, and our mission of providing reliable, affordable, and innovative energy and now broadband solutions in a way that improves the quality of life for everyone living in Northeast Indiana.”
