Clark County REMC was founded here in our community by members just like you in 1939. Our main purpose is to provide safe and reliable electricity, but did you know we do so much more? We give back to the communities we serve with youth programs, donations, family events, kid safety programs, and so much more. We live with you in these communities and strive to make our home a better place.

October is Co-op Month. Each year we plan activities, giveaways and promotions to help celebrate this special time of year. Our plans have changed because of the pandemic, but we can still share together what it means to be a part of an electric cooperative. Will you take a minute to share a positive experience you’ve had with REMC at any point in your life? Did you have a life-changing experience by attending Youth Tour to Washington, D.C.? Do you remember hearing your grandparents talk about how REMC brought electricity to their farm in the 1930s? Share your co-op story with us. We will print a few of our favorite stories in our December issue of Indiana Connection. Best of all, four lucky members will receive a $50 bill credit just for sharing their story.

  • Stories may be shared by mail or email.
  • Deadline for submissions is Oct. 30.
  • All submissions will be entered to win one of four $50 bill credits.
  • A few of our favorite submissions will be shared in the December issue of Indiana Connection.
