Schroeder graduates HEATS program

Clark County REMC’s Clint Schroeder recently graduated from the Hoosier Energy Apprentice Training and Safety (HEATS) program. Seventeen men received diplomas marking the completion of 8,000 hours of on-the-job training, coupled with 576 hours of classroom instruction. The academic commitment requiring multiple tests and classes earn each student an associate degree from Ivy Tech Community College. Each year, a special award is presented to the graduate earning the highest GPA in the class, and this year’s award was presented to Schroeder. Congratulations, Clint!
