RUTH ANN
GRAVES

Ruth Ann Graves is working for you. As a Member Service Specialist, Ruth Ann has been with Clark County REMC for 18 years. When asked what he enjoys most about her job, she stated, “The members of Clark County REMC are very important to me. I especially love how much our community cares for one another.”

Ruth Ann is originally from Milltown, Indiana. She grew up in a small community where everyone knew each other and it was as if everyone was family, and she treasures the memories. She and her husband Dave have lived in the Sellersburg area since 1988. They have been married for 37 ½ years and enjoy the community in which they live. They have three wonderful children: Stacey, Summer and Josh; along with four grandchildren: Andrew (18), Jordan (15), Elijah (1) and Shiloh (6 months). Spending time with family is very important to Ruth Ann and Dave. Their children all live in the Indianapolis area so they enjoy traveling to see them as much as they can.

In their spare time, Ruth Ann and Dave enjoy traveling. They have been to 40 states in the USA and their dream is to travel to all 50 states. Recently, they traveled to Alaska where they were amazed at the unbelievable scenery. They also enjoy taking time to plan day trips on their 3-wheel Slingshot motorcycle. On nice days they find themselves driving for hours and taking in the beautiful country sights.

The past two years, Ruth Ann has chaperoned the Youth Tour to Washington, D.C. She has had a big impact on the youth that have been selected to go on this trip of a lifetime. The students write her letters and keep in touch with her because of her involvement with the program. She is a great leader to the students and does a great job making sure that the students are safe and are learning as much as they can.

Ruth Ann’s care and concern for the community and the members make her a valuable team member. Her goal is to make sure that the members of the REMC are served to the best of her ability. We hope that you enjoy getting to know the employees of Clark County REMC and remember that Ruth Ann Graves is working for you.
