Miami-Cass REMC exists to serve our members as a low-cost and reliable electric service provider.  Your cooperative, in conjunction with our power supplier (Wabash Valley Power Alliance), is constantly looking to increase reliability through reducing outages.

One of the ways to maintain reliability is being able to switch substations to keep the power flowing to your home or business. This issue is why Wabash Valley is connecting two of our substations — Bunker Hill and McGrawsville.

If you travel along Strawtown Pike (by Maconaquah schools), you will see large metal poles being installed along the roadway. This project will connect those substations, giving us more options to continue providing electricity to our members if one substation loses power or needs maintenance.

Once this project is complete, we will be able to serve you with power from our other substations. This gives us more flexibility in keeping the power on.

Your board of directors is always looking for ways to help Miami-Cass REMC avoid outages. With this substation upgrade and our aggressive tree trimming program,  your co-op can continue to provide you with reliable service.

While our contractors are working on this improvement, please be aware and give them plenty of room. Their safety, as well as the safety of our members, is always our number one priority.

If you have any questions about your service, please feel free to contact us so we can help you. I am thankful for our members which continued support make this mission possible.
