Directions

Cream sugar and margarine together. Add egg and vanilla. Stir. Add flour and baking powder. Mix together and then stir in cherries and nuts. Drop spoonfuls of mixture on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 F for 8–10 minutes.

These cookies are always requested for Mom to make and bring to family gatherings.
