Pineapple Upside Down Cake

  • 1 cake doughnut
  • 2 pineapple rings
  • 1 T. butter
  • 4 t. brown sugar


Tear two large pieces of aluminum foil. Cut cake doughnut horizontally and set one half of doughnut on each piece of foil. Place one slice of pineapple on each doughnut half and dot pineapple slices with butter. Sprinkle brown sugar on each slice. Wrap foil around ingredients and seal tightly. Place wrapped cakes on the hot coals of campfire and cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from fire. Slowly unwrap foil.
