End of the Trail Beans

1 (15 oz.) can lima beans

1 (15 oz.) can red kidney beans

1 (15 oz.) can white navy beans

1 clove garlic

3 T. bacon fat

½ cup catsup

3 T. brown sugar

3 T. vinegar

1 t. salt

1 t. dry mustard

¼ t. black pepper

Drain beans and combine with other ingredients. Pour into a baking dish and bake covered at 325-350 F for 1 hour. Uncover, stir and continue baking (uncovered) for 15-20 minutes more. Serves 9.
