Easy Maple Syrup Applesauce

Ingredients
- 2 ½ lbs. apples, peeled, cored and chopped
- 3 T. water
- 2 T. maple syrup
- 1 cinnamon stick
- ¼ t. nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
Directions
Combine apples, water, maple syrup, cinnamon stick and nutmeg in Instant Pot®. Close and lock the lid. Select “high pressure” according to manufacturer’s instructions. Set timer for 8 minutes. Allow 10-15 minutes for pressure to build. Release pressure using the natural release method according to manufacturer’s instructions, 10-40 minutes. Unlock and remove lid. Remove cinnamon stick and season with salt. Blend with an immersion blender to desired consistency.
