1 Tbsp olive oil

2 lbs hamburger

1 onion, diced or sliced thin

12 oz beer

1 can diced tomatoes

8 oz cream cheese

1 cup Heinz 57 sauce

1 cup sliced dill pickle chips

Salt and pepper to taste

Bacon bits

Shredded cheddar cheese

Add olive oil to a Dutch oven or soup pot and brown the hamburger. Drain the grease from the meat, then add the onion and sauté. Once the onion becomes translucent, add the diced tomatoes and beer. Bring to a simmer, then add the cream cheese and stir until melted. Add the Heinz 57 sauce and stir to combine. Simmer for about 15 minutes, then add the pickles. Stir and simmer 15 more minutes. Add salt and pepper to your liking during the last 5 minutes of cooking. Serve in bowls, topped with shredded cheddar cheese and bacon bits if desired.
