Blueberry Kuchen

1½ cups all-purpose flour

¾ cup sugar

2 tsp baking powder

1½ tsp lemon zest

½ tsp ground nutmeg

¼ tsp salt

2⁄3 cup milk

¼ cup butter, melted

1 egg, room temperature, beaten

1 tsp vanilla

2 cups blueberries

Topping

¾ cup sugar

½ cups all-purpose flour

¼ cups melted butter

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, lemon zest, nutmeg, and salt in a large bowl. Add milk, butter, egg, and vanilla. Beat for 2 minutes or until well blended. Pour into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with the blueberries.

In another bowl, combine sugar and flour, then add the butter. Toss with a fork until crumbly. Sprinkle over the top. Bake at 350 F for 40 minutes or until lightly browned.
