- 1 tube (8 biscuits) jumbo-sized refrigerated biscuits
- ½ cup chopped leftover meat (can substitute leftover vegetables)
- ½ cup shredded cheese
- Leftover pasta sauce (optional)
Preheat oven to 400 F. Press each biscuit into a 5-inch round circle. Fill each with 1 T. meat or vegetables and 1 T. cheese. Fold. Seal edges with a fork. Bake for 10-13 minutes. If desired, warm up pasta sauce in microwave oven and serve as a dipping sauce. Makes 8 calzones. If desired, sprinkle calzones with sesame seeds, grated Parmesan cheese or dried parsley flakes before baking.
