Rate increase coming soon

At Marshall County REMC, we work hard to minimize increases in our electric rates. While virtually all aspects of today’s cost of living continue to rise, we pride ourselves on avoiding routine price adjustments.

Even with our continuing efforts to prevent a change in our electric rates, it is necessary for us to implement a rate increase in the coming months. This rate increase considers all the cost pressures the REMC has experienced in its operations.

Marshall County REMC is in the process of finalizing our rate analysis performed by the National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation. The last rate increase was in 2011.

We will continue to provide more information to you in the coming months — please watch our publications for more details.  In the meantime, if you have questions or concerns, we encourage you to contact our office at 574-936-3161.
