PPEC’s Dee Renollet provides an electrical safety demonstration for area students.

It was a great pleasure having the second-grade class from Oakwood Elementary stop by during their field trip. Dee Renollet, PPEC safety and compliance manager, talked about the dangers of electricity with the students.

Students learned about safety equipment used in the electric utility industry, various electrical voltages and circuits, telephone and cable TV wires and the potential of being energized, effects of current on a human body, and so much more!
