For as little as $5/month on your electric bill, your entire household will be covered if they are flown by Air Evac Lifeteam or an AMCN participating provider for a life- or limb-threatening injury or illness.

In the event a member is flown by Air Evac Lifeteam or any AirMedCare Network participating provider for a life- or limb-threatening emergency that AMCN-participating air medical service will work with your benefits provider to secure payment for the flight. Whatever the patient’s benefits provider pays is considered payment in full. Even with medical insurance, an air medical transport may leave patients and their families with unexpected out-of-pocket expenses. If the resident transported is uninsured at the time of transport, Air Evac Lifeteam will bill the covered person at the “Medicare Allowable Rate” for the transport.

Three Air Evac Lifeteam bases serve Southern Indiana Power members – Air Evac 46 in Evansville, Air Evac 17 in Paoli and Air Evac 92 in Breckinridge County, Kentucky. These helicopters can land anywhere in Southern Indiana Power’s service area within 10 minutes. For more information, visit southernindianapower.com.
