Paulding Putnam Electric Co-op makes last Honor Flight donation

On April 26, Paulding Putnam Electric Co-op (PPEC) employees presented Honor Flight with another $10,000 check. The non-profit fundraising campaign wrapped up months ago, but PPEC still had donations trickling in totaling $10,000. Those last funds were presented prior to another Honor Flight leaving for Washington, D.C. The grand total donated was $164,817.45.

Dennis Covert, president of Honor Flight Northeast Indiana, said PPEC’s contribution helped and continues to help send 475 veterans to our nation’s capital to see the memorials built for them. This task could not have been done without the support of the members and communities in PPEC’s service territory.
