Ed Marks, Operation Round Up board member (in gray shirt), presents a check to Andrea, Seth, Carsen and Caleb Hoppe. The Hoppe family founded iCaleb & Company.

iCaleb & Company was awarded an Operation Round Up grant in the amount of $1,000 for iPads, iTunes cards and Otter boxes for children battling cancer at Beacon Children’s Hospital and Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Providing both education and entertainment, iPads can help children stay connected with family during treatment and pass the time during long hospital stays. Since iCaleb & Company’s inception five years ago, it has given away 170 iPads.

The Valparaiso YMCA will purchase a new laptop with the $1,000 grant received from Operation Round Up. This laptop will be used for classroom planning and maintaining state-required trainings for the Y Preschool teachers. In addition, it will provide an enriched learning curriculum for teachers and students.
