Operation Round Up Update

Union North Ambulance Service received a $2,000 Operation Round Up grant this summer.

In July, the following organizations received Operation Round Up grants:

• Blessings in a Backpack of Triton received funding to help feed elementary students this school year. Blessings in a Backpack sends food home with students in need each Friday to ensure they do not go hungry over the weekend. Blessings in a Backpack of Triton currently serves 80 children.

• Blessings in a Backpack of Plymouth received funding to assist children on the federal aid program in Plymouth by feeding them on the weekends. Blessings in a Backpack of Plymouth provided food for 120 children for the 2018-19 school year.

• Union North Ambulance Service received funding to help purchase new CPR equipment. The Union North Ambulance is a not-for-profit service that is made of volunteers who donate their time to the community.

Thanks to all of the members who participate in Operation Round Up! You have donated $124,000 to organizations in the community!
