For 25 years, KV REMC members have turned their spare change into a program that has changed lives through the dedicated work of the many non-profits throughout the cooperative’s service territory. By voluntarily rounding up their electric bills each month, members have created a fund that supports non-profit organizations dedicated to helping those in need.

Since its start, Operation Round Up has awarded $1.8 million in grants, supporting various causes, including education, first responders, healthcare, programs to help food insecurity, special needs support services, and so much more. By awarding grants, the program allows organizations to shift their focus from financial concerns to instead allowing them to focus on what truly matters-helping others.

With more than 70% of the KVREMC members participating in Operation Round Up, the organization remains committed to supporting the tireless work of non-profits. We appreciate each member who chooses to round up. The small act of kindness creates change, and together, we are making a difference in the community.
