Online option makes bill paying easier

Paying your electric bill should be easy and convenient. For this reason, Kankakee Valley REMC offers an easy way for you to view your electric bill, along with convenient payment options. 

If you prefer to pay your bill in-person, over the phone, through our interactive voice response system (IVR) or through auto payment, those options are available and easy to use. Another option is the bill payment system available when visiting When using the online bill payment system, you will have complete access to your account and can safely make payment transactions. This is a secure payment system that is protected by an account number/user ID and password. 

To get started, log on to and click login/pay my bill located in the upper righthand corner of the website homepage. You will then be asked to put in your user ID and password. If you haven’t used the system before or can’t find your password, click “forgot password” and your password will be emailed to the email address that we have on your electric account. If you are a pre-pay account member you will need to obtain your password by calling the office during normal business hours. 

Once in the system you can view your payment history, sign-up for automatic payment, look at your past electric use, start a new service, pay your bill using a credit card or bank account, or even sign up for Operation Round Up. Another great feature is the ability to set up alerts and reminders. You can have the system notify you when your bill is due, if it’s past due, when KV REMC receives your check or if your check has been returned.
