- Your current electric account must have been transferred into your name as of June 1, 2020.
- You must be current on your bill before budget billing starts.
- You must stay current on your bill during the budget period.
Budget accounts are recalculated at the beginning of the budget year and the monthly amount is adjusted accordingly. Your budget amount is refigured one to two times during the budget year. Any debit or credit balance at the end of the budget year is recaptured in a true up month during June billing. If you are interested in budget billing, fill out the form on the back of this month’s bill or call Jennifer Patterson at our office at 260-665-3563 prior to June 1. The budget cycles begin with the July billing (due in August) of each year.
There will be NO agreement letters. When you request to be added to the budget program, we will automatically enroll you. You can call anytime to be removed from this program. When you request to be removed or miss a payment, you will not be eligible to re-enroll until 2022.
