Co-op hosts regional member information meetings

Members from District 2 met at the Spencer County Youth and Community Center on Oct. 12. The meal was catered by McKenzie’s at The Rockport Inn.

Every year, Southern Indiana Power hosts member information meetings in each of the seven districts of its service territory.

These meetings give members a chance to hear from co-op personnel on a range of topics from rebates and energy saving programs to learning about the distinct nature of a cooperative. Members are chosen at random to attend the meetings. During each meeting, a catered meal is provided, and a drawing is held for three $15 bill credits. The details of the 2016 meetings are listed below.

  • Members from District 1 met Nov. 3 at The Rustic. Larry Adkisson, Norma Bullington and J. Siddons each won a $15 bill credit.
  • Members from District 2 met Oct. 12 at the Spencer County Youth and Community Center with a meal catered by McKenzie’s at The Rockport Inn. Harold Fleischman, Joe Groves and Roxanne Vaughn each won a $15 bill credit.
  • Members from District 3 met Nov. 1 at The Chateau. Rodney Gogel, Charles Beren and Nicholas Dilger each won a $15 bill credit.
  • Members from District 4 met Nov. 2 at St. John’s Lutheran Church with a meal catered by New Boston Tavern. Michael Fuchs, Daniel Lautner and Becky May each won a $15 bill credit.
  • Members from District 5 met Oct. 13 at Tell City Pour Haus. Keith Kramer, Nathan Huber and Randall Hagedorn each won a $15 bill credit.
  • Members from District 6 met Oct. 18 at the Smackwater Grill. Tony Flamion, Kevin James and James Royer each won a $15 bill credit.
  • Members from District 7 met Oct. 3 at Marcy’s. Ferdinand Boeckman, Charles Buechler and Arthur Middleton each won a $15 bill credit.
